Scottish lowlanders endearingly call our warrior highland ancestors "Teuchters" - so, when we lowlanders decided to brew a Strong, Dark, Scottish ale that was full of character and flavour, it was easy to choose the perfect name - "Teuchter", pronounced Chookter.
